Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actress who has starred in multiple television series. She also excels in the world of film. She's popular in both Canadian and American Television. Emily's interest in acting began in the year 12 she visited the sister of Katie who was filming one of Katie's films. When she realized that acting was her passion, Emily began to take acting lessons and auditions. Initially she bagged a few commercials, and then was cast in the Canadian children's horror television series Are You Afraid of the Dark? where she was seen only in one scene, without any dialog. When she was 15years old, Emily had her big breakthrough when she became a regular of the WB Television series Glory Days. Emily's performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then cast her on his television show Everwood. A ballet dancer as well as a photographer Emily was featured as a Teen as one of the best actors under twenty. The Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her at top 51.
