Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to earn a 10. competing in the Olympics. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci when she was six. She would later be Romania's gymnastics coach. The year 1969 was the first time she competed in the Romanian Junior Championships and placed 13th. She won in 1970. At her first international contest in 1972, she won the event with three gold medals. At her first competitive event at the senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva, a Russian athlete, won five gold medals aswell as one silver. The first female to complete a reverse double salo with the uneven parallel bar in the event she won American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career began in the entertainment industry during her teenage years performing as a figure skating duo with the sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 at Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her professional career as an entertainer when she was in her teenage years. At the age of a girl, she began performing as the figure skater alongside Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. The shows featured ice skating performances that were accompanied by theatrical music.
