April Lockhart
April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 When she was in the seventh grade, she started playing guitar and piano classes, which ignited her interest in songwriting. April's very first song was called Different which she composed when she was 12 years old. She spent a lot of time at 14 composing songs and experimenting with music. In the following months, April started to take trips in NY and LA together with her father so that they could both write songs. April included other subjects in her hit song, Take my Hand. These topics were meant for the friends of hers who struggled with things like peer pressure and disabilities, or even teenage suicidal ideas. Lockhart also enjoys an increasing popularity as a lifestyle influencer and is employed by the renowned clean beauty company Ilia. The truth is that she was born with no left hand, and it creates her unique. However, this isn't the only thing about her. Lockhart's Twitter profile does not conceal her status as disabled and does not focus on it. What is the message? that we are all a part of a multitude of identities and we're more than our physical selves. Lockhart, via video message from Nashville home, states that I don't wish for my physical appearance to define myself. I'm much greater than the physical person I am. This doesn't interfere with my daily life. All is well and I have learned to adjust. This is a major part of my life, therefore it's important that we talk about the subject. Lockhart is a true source of motivation for self-acceptance generally she is on a long process to attain the goal. However, she admits to going through periods of feeling uneasy about her appearance, and the clothes with arms. She now wears whatever she wants. And she posts her photos on social media. Self-love, according to her, is like a journey. "I do not think that you'll ever get in that place," she said. This is true for everyone, regardless of the level of insecurity. I think that having people close to you who truly are aware of you and know your feelings is crucial since they'll be those who will remind you what you concerned about?
